2. We chose the title name because in our storyline the
main part of the film is based around a Syrian border
which people use to cross to safety. This is many
peoples only way out! Their only lifeline is so cross the
river without being caught.
Why we chose the title name?

3. : Channing Tatum, He would attract the female audience to
watch the film, he also has stared in other romantic war films for
example ‘Dear John’
Charlotte: Mila Kunis: We have chosen this star because she is a
mega star who everyone would be interested in seeing what
character she plays in the film.
: Dwayne Johnson: We have chosen this character because he is
known as a tough actor who always plays a very serious
character but has a softer side when it comes to certain matters.

4. To create interest we in release a trailer with snippets of the film
for example;
The begging of the trailer will be a shot of the still river, this
tranquil image will be disturbed by an explosion, the camera will
black out to flashes of explosions, soldiers (including Channing
Tatum) holding back civilians from the river. The next shot will be in
slow motion showing both Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum looking
terrified running through the river, it will then show them in jail, a
small shot of Dwayne Johnson in military uniform with an
explosion behind him will also feature. The credits will appear at
the end. By doing the shots of out sequence it will create an
enigma in the audience because they are not sure what has
happened in the time between shots.
Hopefully this enigma will boost sales.

5. The storyline to our film is relatively simple, it involves a young Syrian soldier who
feels sorry for the local people and decides to try and help them. It is set in Syria in the
middle of the war that is going on. The young Syrian soldier has been ordered along
with his colleagues to watch the border and make sure that no more civilians leave
the country. But Asad (Channing Tatum) cannot let these vulnerable people suffer
anymore so he decides to take brave action and helps sneak people through the
border to safety.
However one day he gets caught helping a young girl Charlotte (Mila Kunis) through,
they are taken to the nearest prison and are locked up. The soldier who is guarding
the two starts to recognise the young girl in the cell. He keeps having regular
flashbacks and finally realises that this girl is his sister, they were split up when they
were very young due to their mother and fathers deaths and they were both put into
care.
The young soldier decided to help his sister and the other soldier out, he races to get
the to the border as he knows he can get them to safety but unfortunately as he is
helping them across the border they are caught and there is only enough time for two
to cross, the brother decides to sacrifice himself for his sister and her male companion
as he is shot dead in front of her.

6. Our film is different because it is relevant to the
current situation in Syria, although dramatized for film
the bases is still the same.
The target audience is for teenage girls with the genre
of war, this has never really been done before making
our film unique to other war films, although there are
two love interests in the film the central point is the
conflict in Syria.
What makes our film different?

7. To create interest we will put a link to the trailer on
networking sites we will also promote on Twitter.
The first 200 to view the trailer will get a meet and
great session with Mila and Channing.
We will also do a film premiere for the first 1000 to
view the trailer.
We will set up interviews for the radio stations, TV
and you tubers.
