Purdue University Intramural Fields

- 7. So What Is there Besides Sports on the fields? On a nice day, it is common to see many relaxing on the field or playing a casual game with friends.
- 8. The marching band finds their home on the south field. Drill practice has been a common sight here since before this picture of the 1925 band’s rehearsal.
- 9. Every Saturday of a home Boilermaker football game, the field is becomes a host not to athletes, but to the many spectators. The Tailgate
- 10. Overnight, cars begin pouring onto the empty field the the day’s game.
- 11. By morning, the field is a noisy maze of cars, food, and friends. A far cry from the athletic paradise it was not 24 hours prior.
