MySchool is a new website that connects all of the programs used by PA Cyber. This is helpful because students now only need to remember one website. All of their log in information is the same for every site. This site is a great place for parents to go to monitor the work that is being completed.
Blackboard is where all self paced courses are located. These courses are easy to navigate through. The courses are divided into 4 units. All units include 10 lessons, a Mid Unit Quiz, an Exam Review and an Exam. All courses also contain a Final Exam. The teacher is available by email if the student has any questions regarding the course.
Slate XP contains all high school elective courses. This website is easy to navigate through. The courses are divided into 4 units. All units include 10 lessons, a Mid Unit Quiz, an Exam Review and an Exam. All courses also contain a Final Exam. Teacher contact information is located within the course and these teachers are able to be contacted through email.
Virtual classes are offered to students in grades 3-12. These courses provide live instruction to students at scheduled times. There is also student interaction in virtual classes. Group work may be completed in break out sessions.
The Little Lincoln curriculum is available to students in K4- 2nd grade. There are 180 lessons. The parent is the primary teacher, but there is a PA Cyber teacher who grades the assignments and provides feedback to the student and parent. There are videos included in the curriculum that allow students to practice concepts.
Calvert is a very traditional home school curriculum. There are 160 lessons that are all completed out of work books. Every 20th lesson is a test. These tests are scanned in and submitted to PA Cyber teachers who grade and comment on the test.
EdMastery is an assessment center PA Cyber uses for all students enrolled in self paced, virtual and calvert courses. All assignments are submitted into the different instances of EdMastery, depending on the curriculum, and the teacher is able to grade the assignment, post the grade and provide feedback that is able to be viewed by the student and parent. All assignments are easy to find. All you need to do is find the assignment that is labeled the same as the lesson that was just completed.
