This document summarizes a workshop for teachers on project-based learning (PBL) curriculum design. The workshop will focus on creating curriculum maps to align PBL projects with standards, planning projects for the upcoming year, and strategies for effective technology integration and collaboration across grades and subjects. Teachers are asked to bring materials like pacing guides and planning documents to help map out projects and ensure all standards are adequately addressed through inquiry. Possible pitfalls of planning projects without first mapping them to standards include loose or incomplete coverage of content and lack of alignment between projects, assessments, and learning goals.
