Daily Market Insight
Technical View-
We are in clear uptrend and we should ride
the NIFTY and benchmark stocks on the
long side. DO NOT SHORT NIFTY unless
NIFTY closes below 5820/5800 mark.
We have seen an average volume on NIFTY
with a very small spread which normally
would be indicating some sort of profit
booking after a non stop run up of 300
points in very small span of time.
FMCG and PHARMA did not show any
strength where as MEDIA, METALS, PSU
BANKS and REALTY sectors helped NIFTY
to sustain at the current levels.
One can create longs on MEDIA, METALS,
PSU BANKS and REALTY sectors while can
go SHORT on PHARMA and FMCG sectors.
These strengths and weaknesses are clearly

Fundamental View- Intraday traders can SHORT NIFTY only
below 5828 levels in SPOT. It is
NIFTY traded in the flat to negative territory for recommended to go long else.

The option data suggests that the market participants are currently
visualizing the 6000 mark on the higher side. Very high CALL writing at
6000 Strike price will stop market to move beyond 6000 mark. On the other
side we can see equal PUT writings on 5400 to 5800 strike price. This
indicates that NIFTY down move would be restricted below 5800 mark. Last
session’s option data indicated that NIFTY can have a range of 5800 and
6000 in near term.
