Previous facts: - There is a gap in the regional law as far as private schools run with public funds are concerned. - We cannot become members of European Sections because they are established by law only for State Public Schools. - Plurilingualism is a demand of regional, state and EU governments, and required by society (jobs, studies, personal developement etc)

9. Are there any innovations left in this field? INNOVATE There are a lot of items to be researched for every single school, either public of private, as students, backgrounds, teachers …are different

10. Simon Harris (British Council – Barcelona): Language learning activities are based on the needs , motivations , and characteristics of the learners.

11. We can learn what these needs , motivations , and characteristics are, by answering these questions: How much time can our students afford to spend? What will our students need to do with the language? What will our students need to learn in order to do what they want? What makes our students want to learn? What sort of people are our students? What knowledge, skill and experience do their teachers possess? What access do our students have to resources?

12. All these items made us design our path into pluriligualism, taking into account: We will have little or no funds at all for it… It must be a community project All teachers must get involved somehow… We must find our Raison d´être as far as learning languages is concerned…
