1. Google Web Toolkit (GWT) is a development toolkit for building and optimizing complex browser-based applications Most interesting is that GWT is open source and many developers are using it. The developer can develop in Java and debug the code Once the code is finished the GWT compiler translates the Java code into Javascript. This compiler also makes sure that all the major browsers are correctly support.

5. Select File > New > Web Application Project. Enter the name “ Hello World " for your project and the java package “ com.ni.helloWorld “. Only select "Use Google Web Toolkit". Then Click Finish. Create your first GWT application
8. Run GWT application To run your application right-click the project and select Run As -> "Web application". This opens a new view "Development Mode. Copy the url from this view.
9. Paste this url in your browser and install the required plugin (is necessary).
