Halloween is celebrated on October 31st and originated from the Celtic tradition of believing the spirits of the dead would come alive on that day. Many families celebrate by carving pumpkins, cutting faces into them and lighting candles inside, while children dress up in costumes that can be scary or funny and go door-to-door saying "trick or treat" to receive candy.
