Students were instructed to complete a geometry drill on their own by picking up a drill paper and putting their homework and a pen on their desk. The drill contained 5 problems asking students to find the area of different shapes, including finding the area of a triangle with a given hypotenuse and height, the area of a rhombus with given side lengths, the area of an isosceles trapezoid with given leg lengths and bases, the area of an equilateral triangle with a given radius, and the area of a regular hexagon with a given perimeter. The objective was for students to review all area and perimeter formulas.
