Head Start Department
Children are provided learning environments and
experiences enabling them to solve problems, initiate
activities, explore, question and gain mastery through
learning by doing.
Home visits are made to allow parents and Head Start
staff the opportunity to jointly develop goals for the
children.
Head Start programs teach families how to find and
utilize available local community services and
resources enabling them to improve their family's
condition and quality of life.

9. Child Forensic Interview TeamChild Forensic Interview Team

CFIT is part of Victim Services.
CFIT exists to reduce the ongoing trauma
for children who are alleged victims of
sexual abuse.
It’s a team of experts where they interview the
child.
The child is interviewed only by one person
but the room has cameras and hearing
devices; this lets know the rest of the team
what is going on.
