Master’s thesis?
• Master’s thesis is just one step below the Ph.D.
thesis in terms of originality and contribution.
• However, finding solution to the original
engineering problem using the scientific and
technical methods would suffice at Master’s
level.

expected, the originality in the solution and
solution procedure is very much sought.

• A Master’s thesis will fill around 60-80 pages
in A4, inclusive of certificates, declarations,
references, appendices and main text.
• A too small thesis represent the inadequacy of
the work content.
• A too big thesis reflects the inability of the
