What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
There have been so many technologies we have used in the production of the filming and social
network such as blogger, to update and develop our blog. By doing this, we used the various website
but mainly slide share to upload our work on blogger, so there is a similarity of using technology it
has become a big jigsaw in our production.
Final Cut Express
Final cut express is to put together the editing process of livetype on the titles and the recorded
footage on the camera in the correct order to build up the film. Through the program, I learnt how
to fade in shots and transitions like scene merging and cross dissolved. Altogether editing skills were
a helpful in the visual and sounds by imported the clips from a phone or from the internet.
Camera
Camera: Cannon LEGRIA HF M41, footage of the video, we learnt how the camera functions. This
helped our group in the preliminary task as we acknowledged the technical codes in the
shots/angles of the camera; close shot, mid- shot and long shot. Tilt and establishing shot used in the
footage. In addition, we learnt how to sound record on the camera. The
camera is simplistic and sized mattered on the location as it’s allowed us to
experiment the camera in difficult isolated areas around the location, where
we couldn’t do it on a bigger camera.

2. Blogger
I uploaded my work on a daily bases from posts to pages to record the research and planning on the
website Blogger. I have learnt to organise and construct my work that is based around the main
task. All the work from another source was embedded onto the blog via the HTML code.
Live Type
We created the titles from software ‘LiveType’ this software ensured the colour, size, fonts and
special effects on the titles used for the film. The titles were than imported to the Final cut express,
for the final finishing of the filming.
Sound Cloud
This software Sound Cloud was to find the music for the filming operation croak that was embedded
onto my blog for the research via the HTML code. This is to enable to get our music sound for the
back track of the video footage.
Slide share
The slideshare was too uploaded to PDF files and embedded the work onto my blog via HTML code.
Overall, by using the variety of technology available to us, we built our research around the main
task Operation Task and learnt many technology and websites through construction of the product.
