2. As a front Cover I decided
not to use a Star image but
instead a inanimate object.
The final image had an effect called soft light and glow
The Zippo lighter was perfect
for the connotation I wanted increase, this effect gave, I feel the image more texture
to set. The connotation is and visual pleasure. The font I used was called “MV Boli”
supposed to represent the reason I used the type of text was to gain the feeling
simplicity and a younger age of young writers and more so Graffiti Pen, making the

warms and gives light which
we all need to survive
This was the first edited lighter i used
on Photoshop, I went for a warm but
mysterious look, the font I used was
very formal but did not follow the
conventions for my genre. I played
with both the gamma and both Hue
and Saturation.
3. The inside of the CD case is a simple photograph with Candles
as the main point of interest, the candle holder is a silver
twisted table decoration, the plants on the corner that have
been used were originally going to be cropped out, however
after a little testing I decided to keep them and make them
reflect each other, I also played with the curves on Photoshop
and added extra red hue and saturation to darken the image
but make the flame seem brilliantly white.
4. The long shot taken here was taken in the hall ways in Aquinas
college, due to the clean white walls, it would be easy to edit as the
are no other contrasting colours. The yellow lights were taken on
Werneth low when taking a picture for the poster and front cover.
There are only slight colour edits as the picture was near perfect. The
star Image however has much done. Hue and saturation have been
applied, blur tool has also come into play here, furthermore the
picture has been cropped. The song titles are the original songs of the
album.
The images on
the left are just
easy still shots
that were
manipulated to
create the image
we wanted.
The record
labels Logo is
the original one
of the official CD
and we decided
to use it to
create
authenticity.
5. This was a simple photo
taken at about 5 O’clock at
the top of Werneth low in
Stockport. The dark clouds
and contrasting lights give
a unique clean feel to this
poster. The image itself is
a single shot, alternatively
it was to be used as the
album cover however after
many trials I decided to us
it as the poster.
