Inform EVERYONE of time table - about 7 weeks shorter
Arrange and book dates, rooms, faculty in July before ERAS opens
Offer multiple options for interviews (not just every Monday)
Discuss with faculty the need to hold dates & times to avoid issues
with vacations
Branch out to other faculty members for interviewing
Hold workshops for new faculty interviewers
Have senior and junior fellows involved in the interview day
Schedule interviews as soon as they are selected to help ease last
minute travel plans
Create a key core of reviewers to speed up the selection process
Hold workshops on tips for selection criteria
Plan for 'extra' days in the event of cancellations

Have your on-boarding paperwork ready to send

Give hard due dates and follow-up (constantly)
Inform HR about the new timeline
Make sure GME office is ready with signed contracts
Start the visa process immediately
Have packets ready to send regarding relocation:
housing & area schools
Inform occupational health to send out medical
clearance & history forms asap
