Training and Facilitation skills
Able to train adult volunteers with lower literacy to correctly deliver health messages across
the basic and maternal new born curriculum content using multiple learning modalities
appropriate to adult learners. Utilize hands on practical methods where the CHVs, interact
with the material and moving away from a lecture format typical in the classroom setting.
Able to train volunteers to get reliable CHIS data (MOH 513 and MOH 514), including
specifics of polite and ethical household entry. Able to demonstrate what to do through role
play and other dynamic interactive strategies as well as mentor volunteers in how to do on
household registration. Able to do positive retraining until competency in obtaining reliable
data is achieved.
Understanding of a range of non monetary motivators for volunteers and how to use them
effectively.

Data Management and organization
Able to supervise volunteers collecting CHIS data, lead data cleaning process for CHIS data,
support collation of raw data for analysis.

facility staff, CHEWs and CHVs.

while in data collection phase.
