(57) Abstract :
An inverter circuit with a capacitive load for providing an AC voltage proportional to the applied DC input voltage. The circuit uses a
transistor, transformer, couple of resistors and capacitors. Resistors are used to optimize inverter efficiency by adjusting transformer
saturation. The capacitance of the capacitor employed in the circuit has a value selected to suppress the generation of undesired high
frequency oscillations in the AC output signal and also to provide. harmonic suppression as an aid in starting the inverter. The pure
sinusoidal AC output voltage is obtained across the secondary winding of the transformer in the circuit in order to drive low power
devices.

(57) Abstract :
Previously detection of charged particles was done with imported proprietary products, which were not only expensive, but also their
storage stability was not satisfactory. It was surprisingly found that transparent sheets of polyethylene terephthlate (PET) were
eminently suitable for this purpose. The present invention relates to a novel solid state nuclear track detector (SSNTD) for detection of
charged particles, wherein a transparent sheet of polyethylene telephthalate is cleaned by ultrasonic cleaner and then etched in a bath
of caustic soda equipped with an automated temperature controller and a stirrer and maintaining the temperature between 45°C and
70°C, to within ± 0.5°C for a duration varying between 2 and 4 hours to achieve the objective of desired detection after being exposed
to ionizing particles.

(57) Abstract :
This invention relates to a liquid synthesis of surface modified monoclinic sulfur nano particles of average size 20-50 nm, using
polyethylene glycol-400 as a surfactant, comprising the steps of, thoroughly pulverizing sublimed sulfur powder of 100 mesh size
(149 micron) in a high energy ball mill for 1 hour, incorporating 1 gm of sublimed sulfur powder into polysulfide solution after the
particle size descended around 5 micron, stirring 100 ml (2 mol/L) of sodium sulfide solution along with 1 gm of pulverized sulfur
powder at 1400-rpm until the yellow color of the polysulfide solution turns deep orange, preparing aqueous PEG-400 by mixing PEG-
400 and dd H2O in 5:1 ratio, followed by addition of appropriate amount of ammonium hydroxide (0.1 mol/L) to enhance the pH of
surfactant solution above 8, incorporating 5 ml of sodium polysulfide solution in to the surfactant solution followed by dripping of 200
