This patent work is based on the diesel engine that works on two stroke, which produces power for every 360° revolution of crank.
The combustion occurs on both sides of the piston. The engine cylinder and piston is sealed on both sides to avoid leakage. The sealing
is made by expandable ring in the piston and compression ring in the bottom of the cylinder. The connecting rod moves in a
reciprocating motion and does not oscillate. This linear motion of the piston is converted into rotary motion in crank shaft by a
connecting rod withsliding mechanism. The engine produces relatively more power than any other reciprocating engine. The Power to
Weight ratio for this engine is high.

(57) Abstract :
The Room Flood Protection System is a novel invention that can be installed in a room of a house or as applicable, where people
along with the necessary goods can stay safe from the flood water. This system works for both pre-warned flood and flash floods. The
entire system is designed to automatically lift up a lifting floor, up to a rated load, to a safe height above the flood water, working
totally on the energy of the flood water which generates the driving forces. The lifting floor acts as a normal floor of the room when
the system is not in operation and does not hamper the look and feel of the room. The lifting floor is indirectly connected to the flood
water energy driving mechanism with a mechanical advantage. The system also functions as a water storage system during other times
and can be used to connect to a rain water collecting system.
