INTRODUCTION

In view of the recent amendment made in the Patents Act, 1970 by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
effective from 01st January 2005, the Official Journal of The Patent Office is required to be published under
the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings
on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on
this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller
General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that
the content can be enriched.

Notice is hereby given that any person at any time before the grant of Patent may give representation by way of
opposition to the Controller of Patents at appropriate office on the ground and in a manner specified under
section 25(1) of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 read with Rule 55 of the Patents (Amendment) Rules,
2006.
Notice is also given that if any interested person requests for copies of the complete specification, drawing and
abstract of any application already published, the photocopy of the same can be supplied by the Patent Office as
per the jurisdiction on payment of prescribed fees of Rs.4/- per page. If any further details are required to be

        Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,
Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.


The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.

Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

The present invention provides a method of resolving reception conflicts for a multi-card multi-standby mobile terminal, which is for
resolving the conflicts of the mobile terminal based on Goble System for Mobile communication (GSM) network and in the standby
mode, including: acquiring synchronization result with base stations and judging if there are time slot conflicts between multiple SIM
cards of the multi-card multi-standby mobile terminal according to the synchronization result; if the conflicts being non-time slot
conflicts, receiving and processing data of different SIM cards in different time slots of a TDMA frame; and if the conflicts being time
slot conflicts, receiving and processing data of a non-current SIM card in redundant frames of BCCH or CCCH of a current SIM card.
The present invention manages the logical channel conflicts with other SIM cards through using the redundant frames corresponding
to the BCCH or CCCH of a SIM card, thereby resolving the signal conflicts because of the signals from different base stations being
not synchronized for a dual-card dual-standby handset and is compatible with the prior art.

(57) Abstract :
The described systems and methods relate to a wake-up signal receiver configured to wake-up an active RFID tag from sleep mode to
an active mode. In an embodiment, the wake-up signal receiver 200 is based on charge pump architecture and voltage multiplier
circuit. The wake-up signal receiver is configured to receive signals from a RFID reader (an active interrogator). The wake up receiver
includes a secondary inductor coil 202, a capacitor 204 in parallel with the secondary inductor coil, a charge pump (a number of
capacitance (206, 208, 210, and 212) - diode (214, 216, 218, and 220) connected in series-parallel combination), and a zener diode
222. Based on magnetic coupling, voltage is generated at the secondary coil 202 and is sent to the charge pump. Due to the number of
capacitance-diode (206 - 220) that are connected in series and parallel combinations in charge pump, voltage induced at the secondary
coil 202 is increased allowing a wake-up signal 224 to be generated. The generated wake-up signal is fed into a Microcontroller unit
through a MCU Interrupt Channel 224. The wake up receiver 200 unit as disclosed above is purely passive and hence consumes no
power for working along with a RFID tag.

(57) Abstract :
Titanium is known as one of the most biocompatible metal among the commonly used metal and alloys for application as bio-implant
material. There is growing interest for its application as dental implant material becomes of its characteristic feature of
osseointegration with jaw bones. It involves long period for osseointegration of the usual as machined dental implant of titanium and it
causes much inconvenience to patients. We developed a new technique for surface modification of dental implants, without change in
chemistry of the modified surface, to enhance the process of osseointegration as well as corrosion resistance of the implant in
simulated body fluid. The flat surface of Ti metal was subjected to a novel surface mechanical treatment to develop nano size grains of
less than 50nm. Ti metal samples were given heat treatment to improve the properties while retaining the nanocrystalline nature of the
surface. Corrosion behaviour of these samples was characterized in simulated body fluid (Ringer Solution) and found that corrosion
resistance had improved markedly. Further growth behavior of osteoblast cells was studied for 24, 48 and 72 hours. It was observed
that growth of the cell on the specimens with surface treatment increased by more than 50 percent than that of the untreated sample.
Thus this technique of surface modification without any change in surface chemistry improved significantly both corrosion resistance
as well as the process of osseointegration and has high potential as a surface modification technique for dental implant of CP titanium,

In this project, we present the implementation of a real-time vision-based hand tracking system that is used to emulate the keyboard
and mouse functions. The system uses one low-cost web camera integrated with the laptop. In real-time, the system can track the
trajectory of the hand without the use of special markers or gloves. The trajectory is then run through a cascade of haar classifiers to
recognize the posture being traced out. The recognized sequence of postures triggers the program associated with that gesture. Using
this the system is able to perform gestures such as scrolling, browsing, opening and closing files.

of impregnating the felt with a predefined amount of at least one of a bio degradable bonding material, a bio degradable cleanser and
bio degradable aromatic agent, a step of drying the felt obtained from the step of impregnating at a predetermined temperature for a
predetermined time to form the bio degradable scrubber.

of bis(3-chloropropyl)(4E)-oct-4-enedioate with R-(-)-5- methoxylaudanosine in a suitable organic solvent, in presence of an alkali
metal iodide, a base, and an ion exchange resin to obtain Mivacurium chloride.

We developed a new technique for surface modification of dental implants, without change in chemistry of the modified surface, to enhance the process of osseointegration as well as corrosion resistance of the implant in simulated body fluid. The flat surface of Ti metal was subjected to a novel surface mechanical treatment to develop nano size grains of less than 50nm. Ti metal samples were given heat treatment to improve the properties while retaining the nanocrystalline nature of the surface. Corrosion behaviour of these samples was characterized in simulated body fluid (Ringer Solution) and found that corrosion resistance had improved markedly. Further growth behavior of osteoblast cells was studied for 24, 48 and 72 hours. It was observed that growth of the cell on the specimens with surface treatment increased by more than 50 percent than that of the untreated sample.
