 Sustainable cities should be the main target for
any construction project in the 21st century
 Sustainable cities are achievable NOW for new
and existing projects, hot and cold climates
 Sustainable cities require a holistic approach
 Energy is one of the most important parts of any
sustainable city project
 Involvement of residents and other stakeholders
is key for good governance
We are still in our early stages of
sustainable cities, we need to learn from
