2. What is the sound? What is the sound?
The sound is a form of mechanical energy
produced by the vibration of an object.
The vibration makes the air around the
object vibrate too. These air vibrations
are called sound waves.
3. Types of waves.
There are waves that can take place
in the vacuum( electromagnetics
waves), but there are others that
need a material medium to take place
(mechanicals waves).
4. Qualities of sound
Intensity: Sound can be
loud or soft. It's
measures in decibels (Db)
Pitch: Sound can be high-
pitched or low-pitched.
It's measures in hertzs
(Hz)
Timbre: It depending on
the shape wave.
6. Decibels.Decibels.
Depending on his intensity(his
decibels) a sound can be
agreeable(beautiful) or harmful to
people. For example, in the box we can
see that: leaves moving in the
trees(20-45dB) doesn't distract but
a plane taking( 130-150dB) off is
painful.
7. What is noise pollution ?
Noise polluton is excessive,
undersirable sound levels that
disturb people's lives. International
scientific organization recommend
that the maximun level of ambient
noise should not exceed 65 dB.

11. The noise depending on the country
For example: In France people
speaks lower
than people in Spain. In
Germany people travel in bike
instead of in car.
So this causes in Spain there is
more noise pollution that in
other countries as in Germany
or France.
12. Sonorous impact in the day:
In the morning there is no
very much noise but we can
listened the cars of the
people who is going to work.
In the afternoon there is
very noise.(Rush hour)
Because the people return
of working (or they go). In
the night there is very little
noise (In weekends there is
much for the holidays).
