2. Lyric Poem
Maybe I wear a pant
And no white socks with
converse shoes
Maybe I don’t like listening
to a band
And I am not a social goose
Maybe I do care about the
things
That make your world a
heartstrings
Maybe you look at me and
say
“Gee, what a weird girl”
And maybe I allow my
imagination as a fay
And sometimes run away
and never twirl;
Maybe you don’t understand
this,

3. Sonnet
Let’s go for a walk
You see? The sky is like an
ocean blue
Hear this sound of hawk
The sound is calling for a clue
The clue is not so hard to find
Oh! You hear the sound again
Be sure your eyes is not so blind
Keep walking, maybe you will
see a crane
Keep listening to the sound
Maybe you find something new
Yet, you may have already
found
There is it! The bird flew
Up in the sky, so pitch dark
Now you have found the park!

4. Narrative
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The little deaf boy, Nick, puzzled and look
around.
He walks around outside and fumed!
There is nothing to see but other side of town.
“Lucky, I live on the top of the hill to see
everything!” Nick signed.
He saw a huge black smoke and knew it’s a sign.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Nick turn around to see what was the sound
behind him.
Even though he’s deaf and can hear the bang.
A huge black mass smoke blew around him.
“Cough, cough, what was that come from!?” he
signed
Suddenly, he try to see through the smoke then
he sighed.
“Oh, no! The war has started, how lucky I am.”
He signed to himself.
He went back inside to find his dad’s gun.
He took the gun outside and stand by his door
with his gun.

A blooming
flower
Smelling likes
baby powder
I can speak and sign
And please you can
do it
Or I will make you

How can
You make me sad
Everyday in my life
And how can you destroy
my heart
So bad
Daddy
Lovely, carefree
Exciting, caring,
sharing
Makes me feel special

My newborn niece,
I cannot wait to have you in my arm
To hold you & to watch you fussing,
Laughing, smiling, & snuggling
I cannot wait to tell you
How much I love you
Because I have become an Aunt
And I will be part of your life forever

9. Life

Sometimes I can see myself running.
But what am I running from?
I'm running from life.
It's impossible to get away.
Sometimes I wish I could just close my eyes,
And then things would be different.
I just want to be somebody.
I don't know if I can, but I'll try.
I've messed up in my life more then once.
But at least I'm still alive.
But do I want to be?
Yes . . . I do.
People mess up all the time.
It's no reason to just run away.
If you do, your problems will wait for you.
You just gotta move on.
You have to except what you've done.
Just can't sit and feel sorry for yourself.
Life's not that bad.
It's what you make it out to be.
There will be good and bad times.
Sometimes more bad then good.
Either way it's life.
I would never want to change my life.
Even though I've messed up in the past.
I think it made me a stronger person.
So instead of running,
I'll stay and take life as it is!
