The family is growing
The T-slot cylinder sensor with integral M8 connector on
the housing is available as an electronic version or with a
reed element.
In addition to the two flat standard versions designed
for C-slots and T-slots, further applications can now be
conveniently implemented thanks to the new design.
Thus, the sensor can for example be easily wired from
the control cabinet to the cylinder in special machines.
The position of the M8 connector on the sensor results
in space savings in the cable duct. Furthermore, the en-
tanglement in cable loops is minimized.
Good fixing and easy installation
The ifm sensor has the following advantages: self-locking
mechanism, strain relief, drop from the top into the slot,
adapters for further cylinder types.

A sensor for high demands
For applications with high load currents up to 500 mA
the family of T-slot cylinder sensors now features corre-
sponding sensors. They can be reliably adapted to all
common cylinder types.
The self-locking mechanism as well as the easy positio-
ning in the T-slot allow comfortable one-hand installa-
tion. The sensor is fixed by a combined head screw. This
also provides excellent strain relief.
A sensor for almost any cylinder profile
Thanks to the wide selection of adapter accessories the
T-slot sensor can be fixed to almost every T-slot, clean
line, tie rod, integrated profile or trapezoidal slot cylinder.
Storage and mounting time can thus be reduced.

efector valvis goes AS-i.
Position sensors and object recognition
Position feedback for
single, double seat and
diaphragm valves.
Integrated AS-i chip for direct connection
to the AS-i bus system.
Freely programmable valve positions:
open / closed / seat lift.
Resolution of 0.2 mm across the entire
measuring range.
Maximum valve stroke: 80 mm.
Applications
efector valvis has been designed for feedback of posi-
tions on single, double seat and diaphragm valves up to
a stroke of 80 mm.
The optional adapters allow installation of the sensor to
the most common valve types.
Feedback via AS-i
In addition to the binary 24 V DC version the output sig-
nals of efector valvis can now be transferred directly via
the AS-i bus. Up to 31 sensors can be connected to one
master.
AS-i power and communication errors are indicated by
LEDs on the unit.

If things are getting heated!
In case of ambient temperatures up to 180 °C, powerful
electronics should be cooled to protect them from over-
heating. Using the cooling box, the distance sensor O1D
with PMD technology can now also prove its performance
in hot applications such as in the steel industry.
Cooling or protection box
After connection to a cooling circuit via the standardised
3/8" tube connections, the temperature on the inside of
the cooling box can be cooled down to an “electronics-
friendly” temperature. If you screw off the tube connec-
tions, the box can be used as pure protection box for
very harsh operating conditions.

Applications
Whenever there is little space for sensors or when small
parts are to be detected, the small photoelectric sensors
of the O7 series are the ideal problem solvers. Typical
applications are feeding and handling technology. The
user can choose between units with PNP or NPN output.
Advantages
The small light spot and the narrow light cone enable the
detection of small objects even over long distances. With
their fixed setting, the sensors are ready for operation
immediately after installation (plug & play). Diffuse reflec-
tion sensors with background suppression with 30, 50 or
100 mm range are available. Visible red light allows fast
and simple alignment.
