Disaster Management Centre (DMC) gathering information
and updating the website regularly
People’s Aid Coordination Committee (PACCOM) strong
support to NGOs operating in affected areas
4. Main affected sectors: short term
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) to prevent
disease outbreaks
Health: ensure health centres are functioning and
providing sufficient services
Food security: ensure that the gap until next harvest is
adequately addressed
Shelter: houses washed away and/or unroofed
WASH and Health clusters have been activated
5. Main affected sectors: long term
Livelihoods, with main focus in agriculture and
fisheries, but including small and medium enterprises
(handicraft, shops, etc.)
Education, with hardware (schools and classrooms) and
“software” (notebooks, uniforms, etc).
Early Recovery, application of development principles to
humanitarian/post disaster settings.
Three cluster will be possibly activated
