2. Three Meanings
"used to" has three meanings:
To be used to has the same meaning as accustomed to and
refers to an activity that is now comfortable.
To get used to means that the activity is not comfortable
yet, but it is becoming comfortable.
Used to refers to a repeated action in the past. Similar to
the Spanish “solia.”

Subject + to be + used to + gerund...
I am used to driving a stick.
The children aren't used to staying up late.
Used most frequently in the present tense.

4. To Get Used To (1)
Subject + get (conjugated) + used to +
gerund...
I am getting used to getting up early.
I have never gotten used to speaking
Spanish in public.

Frequently used:
In present progressive:
He is getting used to...
In present perfect:
You have gotten used to...
In future:
Don’t worry about working 24/7. You’ll get used to it.
Not frequently used in present, past or past progressive
6. Used to
Subject + used to + verb (root)...
I live in Las Palmas now, but I used to
live in New York.
When I was a child I used to go to church
every Sunday.
