Schools need computers for students and teachers to search for information, create presentations and documents, and communicate. A computer network connects all the computers and allows people to share resources and contact each other. Specifically, a campus area network (CAN) links local networks across school buildings, providing shared access to information for students and teachers throughout the school. Establishing a CAN network requires hardware like keyboards, mice, and computers throughout the school.

1. Because it’s useful to do a lot of things with computers such as search things you want to know, do some works, send their homework, read news etc. Why does the school need computers ?

2. When you have to do a presentation or works, you can use a Microsoft Power Point to create your presentation, you can also use a Microsoft Word to create your work. Teachers also need the computers to find some information for their students to learn Teachers and students can contact each other by using Computer Communication such as Msn , Face book , Twitter etc.

3. Computer Network When you have the computers in your school, you also need to have a network to connect with other people around the world.

Type of network - LAN - Local Area Network - WLAN - Wireless Local Area Network - WAN - Wide Area Network - MAN - Metropolitan Area Network - SAN - Storage Area Network, System Area Network, Server Area Network, or sometimes Small Area Network - CAN - Campus Area Network, Controller Area Network, or sometimes Cluster Area Network - PAN - Personal Area Network - DAN - Desk Area Network

5. What is CAN ? A campus network is a computer network made up of an interconnection of local area networks (LANs) within a limited geographical area. In the case of a university campus-based campus network, the network is likely to link a variety of campus buildings including; academic departments, the university library and student residence halls.

6. Why do we use CAN Network ? We suggest to use CAN Network in your school because it can shares network in every buildings, everywhere and every time. It connects together around your school by putting LAN Network together.

7. What hardware does the school need ? The school needs lots of hardware such as keyboards , mouses , loud-speakers, CPUs , screens etc.
