OMS, suposed the digitization of healthcare
processes, and a nationwide intranet for our
country, Spain.
With that, we are trying to solve problems in
the health system as re-testing, lack of
specialists from different patient profiles
(operations, allergies ...).
This will create a profile useful for the whole
territory, and available in all hospitals and
medical centers.

Spanish Health Care Public System has an
Information System that does not work
efficiently. Clinic patient information is not
shared between regional states.
If you have surgery in Andalusia, a regional
state in the south of Spain, any hospital in
Madrid will not have any medical records
about it. Protocols for requesting medical
tests are not well defined, sometimes they
repeat the same tests several times.

the medical system. A more agile and efficient
platform, which saves costs and time.
For exemple, it would avoid overcrowding in
emergency centers, providing faster diagnosis in
primary care centers, avoiding waiting lists for
diagnostic tests, reducing visits to multiple centers
and specialists, etc.
Doctors need to access to the information from
anywhere, from several kinds of devices. The system
will provide more effective and safe medical diagnosis
tools, enabling them to analyze a wider range of
problems, causes, consequences, effects, etc. and
quickly decide the most appropriate treatment for
the patient.
Keep citizens informed and attended prevent
unnecessary use of the health system.
