The main objective: in 2010 all European citizens will have access to an ePortfolio . ePortfolios will benefit citizens by facilitating mobility , transparency and recognition for lifelong and lifewide learning and work experience. ePortfolio is the medium of choice for the 21st century lifelong learner and knowledge worker. There is no policy support by public authorities at the federal or regional level. Activities are limited to local research, to development of proprietary e-portfolio solutions, and to pilot studies.”

It cannot be planned but supported. private actors, local activities organisations policy

Dr. Ilona Buchem/E-Portfolio Initiative Berlin Strategy build a network of experts and stakeholders in the region, facilitate synergies through collaboration with local organisations; forge strong partnerships and enable knowledge transfer (meetings, workshops, web); support dissemination of ePortfolio activities; win support of government agencies as a critical source for sustainability.
