Task 1: Create a project baseline
In this task, you create a baseline of the project.
Restriction: To create a baseline, you must have Baseline Administrator permission. If you have only the Author or
Administrator permissions, you cannot create a project baseline. In the JKE Banking (Requirements Management)
project, the JTSAdmin account has Baseline Administrator permissions.
1. Open the lab environment at https://jazz-server:9443/rm/web and log in as the JTS Administrator by typing
JTSAdim for both the user ID and password.
2. On the All Projects page (https://jazz-server:9443/rm/web), in the My Projects section, find the JKE Banking
(Requirements Management) project and click Show Artifacts.
- Log on as the JTS Administrator by typing JTSAdim for both the user ID and password.
3. Create a baseline of the JKE Banking (Requirements Management) project:
a. In the Baselines section of the right sidebar, click the Create a baseline icon.

b. For the name of the baseline, type Iteration 1, and then click OK.
4. In the Baselines section of the sidebar, click the link to the Iteration 1 baseline. Review the baseline.
5. When you are finished reviewing the baseline, click the Open Current Project icon to return to the JKE
Banking (Requirements Management) project.
Note: You can use the second icon to delete the baseline that you created.

6. Log out of the project.
