• Use the Jazz™ team reports component to track the
actions, behaviors, and progress of your team or
project.
 View a report.
 Create a report from a resource.
• Use dashboards in the web client.
 View shared dashboards in the web client.
 Customize and share your personal dashboard in the web
client.

Rational Team Concert reports
Reports provide a way to view the status, actions, and
progress of a team or a project.
You can view reports in the Eclipse client or web client.

The Reports folder in the Team Artifacts view
Reports for your project are in the
Reports folder.
• The My Reports folder contains
your private reports.
• The Shared Reports folder
contains reports that all team
members can use.

Viewing a report
To view a report, double-
click the report name.
In some reports, you can
navigate into the information
in the report.
To edit, click this icon.

Report Resources
IBM® Rational Team Concert™ has
report resources that you can use to
create a report.
The resources include these
features:
 Report design
 Variables that you can modify to
customize the report
When you create a report, you can
share it or make it a private report.

Creating a report from a resource
The Reports Resources
folder has many resources to
choose from.
1. Right-click the resource to
use, and then click Create
Report.
2. Select the destination
folder for the report, and
then click OK.

Dashboards
Dashboards provide information about the project
status at a glance in the Rational Team Concert web
client.
As a developer, you use dashboards to complete these
tasks:
 Share project status with team members
 Track your workload
Dashboards can be public or private and are
customizable.
Three types of dashboards exist:
 Project
 Team
 Personal

You can select from a
template dashboard.

Adding widgets
You can add various widgets
to your dashboard to display
important information and
provide easy access to it.

Customizing the layout: Tabs and columns
Add additional tabs
for custom content.
Organize the layout of
widgets on each tab by
selecting the number of
columns to display.

Example: An updated General tab
 You might decide to share personal information, such as
favorite quotes and links to favorite websites.

Example: A new My To-Do's tab
 Add widgets with links to team dashboards.
 Display work items that are "open assigned to me."

Example: A new Tech News tab
 Show your favorite RSS news feeds.
