2. Once again terrorist targeted India, now this time it was
Pune. The IT hub for all software companies. Attacks
occurred at German bakery one of frequently visiting place
of foreigners. Mumbai has been the most preferred target for
most terrorist organizations, primarily the separatist forces
from Pakistan. Terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir are
always in news, peoples of J&K valleys are living under the
terror.
3. Germen Bakery Bomb Blast -
Koregaon Park Pune: On the 13th
February 2010, Once again India is targeted by
terrorist, there was a bomb blast at German
bakery Karegaon Park pune, that killed 8 peoples
and around 50 peoples were injured. This is the
first time green citypune is get targeted by the
terrorist, but according to intelligence of India
pune was in radar of terrorist. Bomb blast
incident has been occurred at German Bakery
near to Osho Ashram and Jewish prayer center.
Osho ashram is very known place in pune, where
lot of foreigners visit frequently. The blast
occurred when a waiter try to open an
unidentified bag in the bakery. The main reason
behind the blast is to harm foreigners. IED
(Improvised explosive device) was used in the
bomb blast.
4. Mumbai Terrorist Attack: Begin on 26
November 2008 and lasted until 29
November, killing at least 173 people including
at least 22 foreigners and wounding at least
308. It was the Biggest terrorist attack in the
world ever. Mumbai the dream city, The city
who never sleep was attack by some Pakistani
terrorist form multiple sites. Attacks occurred in
Mumbai: at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, The
Oberoi Trident, The Taj Mahal Palace, Leopold
Cafe, Cama Hospital, Jewish-owned Nariman
House. Around 200 hostages are rescued.
Ajmal Kasab the only attacker who was
captured alive, disclosed that the attackers
were members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, the
Pakistan-based militant organization.
5. Bangalore Serial Blasts: July 25, 2008 Bangalore serial blasts occurred
in Bangalore, India. A series of nine bombs exploded in which two people
were killed and 20 injured. According to the Bangalore city police, the
blasts were caused by low-intensity crude bombs triggered by timers.
Bangalore is the information technology hub of India with more than 40%
of the country’s IT and software industry based there.
6. Jaipur Bombings: 13 May 2008 A series of bomb blasts has claimed at
least 80 lives in a popular tourist district of the city of Jaipur in north India.
Jaipur the capital city of the royal Indian state of Rajasthan, and a popular
tourist destination also know as pink city turned into red on day of blast.
This was the first time terrorists had targeted Jaipur, India’s tenth largest
city and one of its most popular tourist destinations.
7. Mumbai Train Bombings: 11 July 2006 Again Mumbai, Now this
terrorist target the life line of Mumbai, local trains.There were a series of
seven bomb blasts that took place over a period of 11 minutes on the
suburban railway in Mumbai, 209 people lost their lives and over 700
were injured. The bomb were set off in pressure cookers, in lunch boxes
and placed in trains.
8. Malegaon Blasts: 8 September 2006 were a
series of bomb blasts that took place on 8
September 2006 in Malegaon, a town in
the Nashik district of the Indian state of
Maharashtra.The explosions, which caused the
deaths of at least 37 people and injured over
125 more, took place in a Muslim cemetery,
adjacent to a mosque, at around 13:15 local
time after Friday prayers on the Shab e Bara’at
holy day. Most of the blast victims were Muslim
pilgrims.Security forces spoke of two bombs
attached to bicycles, but other reports indicated
that three devices had exploded
9. Varanasi Bombings: 7 March 2006 A series of blasts occurred across the
Hindu holy city of Varanasi on 7 March 2006. Fifteen people are reported to
have been killed and as many as 101 others were injured. No-one has
accepted responsibility for the attacks, but it is speculated that the
bombings were carried out in retaliation of the arrest of a Lashkar-e-Toiba
agent in Varanasi earlier in February 2006.
10. Ram Janmabhoomi Attack -
Ayodhya: On July 5, 2005 The long
simmering Ayodhya crisis finally
culminated in a terrorist attack on the site
of the 16th century Babri Masjid -
Demolished Ancient Masjid in Ayodhya on
5 July 2005. Following the two-hour
gunfight between Lashkar-e-Toiba
terrorists based in Pakistan and Indian
police, in which six terrorists were killed,
opposition parties called for a nationwide
strike with the country’s leaders
condemning the attack, believed to have
been masterminded by dawood ibrahim.
11. Delhi Serial Bombings: The 29 October 2005 Delhi bombings
occurred in India, killing 62 people and injuring at least 210 in three
explosions at three different places. The bombings came only two days
before the important festival of Diwali.The first blast took place in the
main bazaar of Paharganj, second blast took place near a bus in
Govindpuri area and within minutes of the second third explosion took
place in south Delhi’s busy Sarojini Nagar market.
12. Indian Parliament Attack: On 13 December
2001 terrorist target the parliament of India, Five
terrorist entered parliament premises in a car
through the VIP gate and killed 9 policemen and
parliament staffers. After the gunfire of 45
minutes all five terrorist were killed by staff
forces and identified as Pakistani
nationals. Mohammad Afzal who is convicted of
being part of conspiracy is now sentenced to
death by Indian court. He was to be hanged on
20 October but the sentence has been stayed.
