Talipes, also known as club foot, is a congenital deformity where the foot is twisted from its normal position. There are three main components of Talipes equinovarus: plantar flexion at the ankle joint (equinus deformity), inversion at the subtalar joint (varus deformity), and adduction at the tarsometatarsal joints (adduction deformity of the forefoot).
