1. Domenic Rosati
May 10, 2011
S.S. Assessment
“Thomas Jefferson for President 1800”
This video was useful and easily to understand. The video was useful because the video had a lot of information. The only thing bad about it was the notes were going to quick on the slides, but it was useful. They had a lot of notes and easy to read.
This video had a lot of information, like John Adams wanted a strong Federal government. Aaron Burr lost his political position because he didn’t take sides. Thomas Jefferson became president of the United States and reduced American taxes. Thomas Jefferson was born April 13, 1743 in Shadwell, Virginia. Thomas Jefferson attended college at William and Mary at age 16.
This video had a lot of propaganda. They were making fun of Adams, and Burr and not Jefferson. The video made Adam Burr a devil and putting a crown on Adams. The video showed me all the bad things Adams and Burr did and all the good things Jefferson did. The pictures helped me understand how Jefferson helped the Unite States and Adams, and Burr hurt the Unites States. This video was also biased by the way they only showed the good things Jefferson did.
This video should be recommended because it helps you understand what happened during the election. The only bad thing about the video is the slide goes to quick. The good thing about the video is that it’s colorful and easy to understand. This video has false information on Thomas Jefferson, like he will let out slaves but he kept them. This video should really be recommended to the 7th grade class and everyone else.
