SCMD 120: Introduction to
Social Media Across an Organization



Course Syllabus
In this course, students will learn the fundamentals of social media and how businesses can leverage multiple
social networks and their millions of users

Discover what social media is, who’s using it, and why it’s important for your organization. Students also explore
how teams and departments are using social media to accomplish company goals, whether it’s marketing, sales,
or customer service!

Learn through engaging video modules, useful worksheets, and online tests. The first in a two-part series, this
course is comprised of two lessons totaling nine videos.
