Interior Designer Jitka Kobzova has decided to change the interior of her home after 3 year of living there. Her 3 bedroom apartment, in a residential project in Prague Marina Holesovice in Prague, is therefore currently undergoing a low-cost transformation. Jitka has moved to this apartment 3 years ago, when she returned from London.
"When I chose to buy this apartment and began to decorate, I then longed for bold colours. I chose complementary colors - fuchsia and purple and matched it all with the main furniture of neutral colors - wenge and white. I loved the rich colors of the small elements in my apartment - dining chairs, smaller carpets, cushions and paintings. I felt great in this fibrant space, however I now feel that it’s time for a change!", says Jitka Kobzová.
The change of her interior is not requiring radical changes nor big budgets. By already having a great apartment base and structure, the main changes will be within the colour scheme, materials, and a few furniture pieces, rather than refurbishing and rebuilding the whole interior.
"My new color scheme for my interior is marked by the color taupe, ie shades of gray-beige-brown, all of which blends in with all my accessories, such as cushions, carpets and chairs. The cinnamon shade revives the colour scheme, which dominates on my favourite painting (relocated from the bedroom), which now became a central decorative addition to the main living area.
The cinnamon colour is also seen on two cushions on the sofa, which creates a very subtle and balanced colour scheme alltogether ", Jitka comments on her new interior and adds,
"Due to the solid base of my interior, it will always be easy to undergo changes whenever I have the desire for a transformation.
