I asked people to send photos which is taken with a card with a hole in the center. Photograph is chosen as a
means to deliver a message to overcome the language barrier and to be instantly understood by everyone. local
scenery and everyday objects around the sender cropped behind the flag contains the moment of remembering
Japan as they are offering a moment of silence.
The photo messages are collected via website and displayed on a world map.
When the recipient opens the photo, the locations of the recipient and the
photo (sender) are connected with a line to depict that the message has been
received by someone in Japan or another sender. The line which ties the two
locations is the evidence of shared thoughts from one person to another.

An installation is made as a part of the project. In this installation the
connection lines are translated into three dimensional form. Red strings which
point toward the direction of Japan show that the photo message has been
received by someone there.

Meeting room for DGI-BYEN




  Time    October 2008                       Worked as an art director and designer on a meeting room design project in a venue for culture and

                                             With a twist of humour the typeface visually mirrors the room itself – while in the actual meeting situation
                                             the users are given a thought-provoking experience of the physical setting.

  Time    January 2009 - October 2009                         Won an international competition to develop a new logotype for Tasaki, and worked on the total

Luxuriance is expressed with layers of haptic papers, creating a moment to cherish for that something special.
Details such as hinge tightness and weight of the case are carefully controlled to convey a feeling of preciousness in your hands.
Nivea Gift Pack 2009




  Time    October 2008 - January 2009           The task was to design a gift package mainly for Christmas sales, but also for throughout the year. At the

  Time    June 2008               Ramlösa is a well known and trusted water brand with a long history. With the recent trend to healthy
 Client   Carlsberg Danmark A/S   diet, Ramlösa had introduced more flavours, making it necessary to re-set the brand presence for the

          HAPTIC   Awakening the Senses exhibition




  Time    June 2003 - April 2004                               HAPTIC was an exhibition planned and produced by Kenya Hara which focused on the creative awakening

I was responsible for a coordination with Mr
Fukasawa and the actual production of the
piece. My role was to understand the aim of the
creator and to find a possible means to realize
this highly original idea.

For banana and strawberry, I found a fake food
model production company who can make super
detailed surfaces. Kiwi is made by a paper which
fibers are applied with a flocking technique. I
folded them into shape and glued straws on.

Tadpole coasters by Shin Sobue

I was responsible for a coordination with Mr.
Sobue and the actual production of the piece.
My role was to understand the aim of the
creator and to find a possible means to realize
this highly original idea.

The challenging part was to find a crystal clear
silicone which can contain some object in and
freely shaped. Over 250 Tadpole figures were all
handmaded by Mr. Sobue and I.

  • 4. I asked people to send photos which is taken with a card with a hole in the center. Photograph is chosen as a means to deliver a message to overcome the language barrier and to be instantly understood by everyone. local scenery and everyday objects around the sender cropped behind the flag contains the moment of remembering Japan as they are offering a moment of silence.
  • 5. The photo messages are collected via website and displayed on a world map. When the recipient opens the photo, the locations of the recipient and the photo (sender) are connected with a line to depict that the message has been received by someone in Japan or another sender. On this card, Scope Corporate christmas card you can find different footprints - of a man, a woman, a kid, a dog, a bird, and of someone without shoes - Role Art direction, Implementation, Print control reminds you of a memory of the cold snowy day. Done at Kontrapunkt The result was simple and quiet yet with a rich narrative, implemented with a profound knowledge of material and print technique.   • 30. Meeting room for DGI-BYEN Time October 2008 Worked as an art director and designer on a meeting room design project in a venue for culture and Client DGI-BYEN sports. Tight restrictions to preserve the facility and a tight budget frame were used to an advantage by Scope Interior concept, Implementation visualizing the function of the room in eye-catching typography. A number of words set in the typeface Role Art direction and Design ‘KONTRAPUNKT’ visualizes the function and objective of the room. The inventory enters into a dialogue Done at Kontrapunkt with the user of the room while at the same time the meeting room and meeting situation are united into one expression. With a twist of humour the typeface visually mirrors the room itself – while in the actual meeting situation the users are given a thought-provoking experience of the physical setting.

Nivea pattern is developed to evoke luxury in the subtle detail. At Role Lead designer the implementation phase, an open window was introduced to meet the market needs. Takeo Paper Show 2004 HAPTIC   Awakening the Senses exhibition Time June 2003 - April 2004 HAPTIC was an exhibition planned and produced by Kenya Hara which focused on the creative awakening Client Takeo Paper Company of human sensory perception. I worked as a member of the team, responsible for production of exhibit Scope Exhibition design entries by Naoto Fukasawa (product designer), Kengo Kuma (architect) and many others with close Role Concept development, Coordination with creators, correspondance with the creators. Design development together with creators, Project The challenge was to find the means to realize highly original creator’s concept ideas in physical form, and management, Production of exhibit entry, was successfully implemented. The exhibition was a huge success, which established the concept “haptic” Exhibit administration, Shop layout which has since become a long lasting trend in the design world.   • 43. Juice Skin by Naoto Fukasawa / Banana I was responsible for a coordination with Mr Fukasawa and the actual production of the piece. My role was to understand the aim of the creator and to find a possible means to realize this highly original idea. For banana and strawberry, I found a fake food model production company who can make super detailed surfaces. Kiwi is made by a paper which fibers are applied with a flocking technique. I folded them into shape and glued straws on.

  • 45. Tadpole coasters by Shin Sobue I was responsible for a coordination with Mr. Sobue and the actual production of the piece. My role was to understand the aim of the creator and to find a possible means to realize this highly original idea. The challenging part was to find a crystal clear silicone which can contain some object in and freely shaped. Over 250 Tadpole figures were all handmaded by Mr. Sobue and I.
