The Turkish-Arab Economic Forum (TAF) is an annual conference organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group to promote economic cooperation between Turkey and Arab countries. The first TAF in 2005 had over 3000 participants and 200 pre-arranged business meetings. It has since become a major event bringing together government and business leaders to discuss issues important to Turkey and the Arab world. The 2014 TAF was held in Istanbul with a focus on investment opportunities and macroeconomic developments in the region.

TAF AT A GLANCE
In 2005, Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group took the initiative to
venture into Turkey; with an accurate insight into the Turkish-
Arab relations which were overdue for more than half a century,
the group took a ground-breaking step by organizing the first of
its kind Turkish-Arab Economic Forum (TAF), attracting the
highest level of Turkish and Arab participants onto one
platform.
Over the years, TAF achieved a significant impact on Turkish-
Arab relations and marked itself as the strategic event of the
region, bringing together a large number of government and
industry leaders from Turkey and the Arab world to network and
discuss issues of vital importance to Turkey and the Arab
world.
