NLP created in the 1970’s
by Richard Bandler and John Grinder
  There is a connection between neurological
  processes, and life-long behaviors learned through
  experience and language.
  These processes can be manipulated or organized
  to achieve one’s desired goals
  Bandler and Grinder found that if exceptional
  people’s effective behaviors could be modeled,
  other people could also acquire the effective
  behaviors.
