You will be assigned to work with another trainee, you can both work together to be able to cover all the information. The First thing that is important is that you learn about Turkish culture . Pleas be able to find Turkey on a map . It would be helpful if you take a closer look at Turkey and are comfortable with the types of animals and plants you will encounter. Here are some facts that may me useful in discovering what Turkey is like. The food that you eat may be different from what you are use to but I hope you will enjoy it. After you have learned and become experts on what Turkey is like, you and your partner will give the class a tour. Please bring in an artifact that is like something that you encountered, this may be some food or dress or plant, etc. You can be creative in how you present to the class, maybe even dress up. I used my practicum class room for my intended class, it is a 7 th grade Geography class. Currently we are studying the Middle East and for my lesson plan I wanted to implement a Webquest for the class. The section that I chose to concentrate on was Turkey. The students will learn about the culture and land of Turkey. After learning about the culture and land the students will be responsible to take the class on a tour guide through Turkey.
