                      •    Promoting awareness of e-learning vision across the whole

                      •    Involving all staff in implementing e-learning strategy

                      •    Informing learners of ICT skills needed for e-learning
                      •    Developing & implementing ICT skills assessment process for
                           learners
                      •    Developing & offering ICT skills training for potential e-learners
                      •    Encouraging ongoing development of ICT skills through self directed
                           learning

                      •   Encourage & support staff to embrace e-learning, with a
                          particular focus on engaging our tutors

                      •   Analyse e-learning training needs for all staff

                      •   Develop & implement ongoing e-learning training program

                      •   Use variety of interactive resources for all staff continuing
                          professional development

                      •   Encourage self directed learning

                      organisation and to the broader community by:

                      • Keeping CoM informed of emerging technologies and
                        opportunities
                      • Encouraging staff to be fully engaged with ICT and e-
                        learning on a regular basis
                      • Supporting the application of a range of Web 2.0 tools to
                        increase e-skills of both CoM and staff

                      • Developing partnerships with other organisations and
                        working collaboratively to promote e-learning
                      • Offering a range of quality blended delivery courses with a
                        significant on-line component
                      • Using social media as a marketing tool

                      The following strategy components will be
                      implemented in order
                      • Select and engage Virtual Learning Platform
                        supplier
                      • Select which courses will be prioritised for
                        implementation
                      • Develop / convert resources for selected
                        courses
                      • Train staff and learners in use of Virtual
                        Learning Platform and other technologies
                      • Run a pilot course with a carefully chosen
                        cohort
                      • Evaluate pilot and plan other course roll-outs
                        accordingly

November 2011 eleaders4hume Implementation Plan e-learning strategy The following strategy components will be implemented in order • Select and engage Virtual Learning Platform supplier • Select which courses will be prioritised for implementation • Develop / convert resources for selected courses • Train staff and learners in use of Virtual Learning Platform and other technologies • Run a pilot course with a carefully chosen cohort • Evaluate pilot and plan other course roll-outs accordingly
