2. High concept
• My game is a cartoon horror game, that includes characters
such as demons, witches, beast. My game is a hack and slash,
were the main player has to be able to kill as many as they can
in order to gain points.
3. Summary
• In my mind map and my mood board I have gathered
secondary and primary research that will help me with the
kind of idea that I’ll have for my game. This will help me idea
such as theme, storyboard, weapons and characters etc. For
my primary research I looked for things like environments,
characters and item etc. this help me gain many ideas for my
item, environment and character. For my secondary research I
found out similar games to my game and used them to help
me gain better ideas. I also looked at my target audience and
saw what would be more suitable for a certain age rating.
Throughout this I have learnt the structure of a game, how to
structure my game and make it look how I imagined it. The
target audience that I'm aiming is young boys aged from 9-12

well in action adventure game?
1. I asked this questions
because I wanted to know
what type of art style would
suit more with my medieval
game.
2. I found out that cell shaded
is the best art style to use
when creating a medieval
game. The data tells us that
the photo realism is least
chosen art style and that cel-
shaded is the most.
3. As a result abstract and cel-
shaded were the most
chosen art styles, this tells
me that abstract and cel-
shaded art styles would be
more better for my game.
8. 2.which area of a game should have
the most focus when it comes to
concept art?1. I asked this question
because I wanted to find
out what area of a game
would be good for me to
most work on when
making my game.
2. As a result I found out that
environment would be the
best place to work on. The
data tells me that I should
least work on the level
designs as its seem like its
less important.

environment were most
chosen, therefore it is
saying that both of these
should be most focused
on.

tone do you think would work well
1. The reason why I asked this question was
because I wanted to find out what tone
would be most suitable for my medieval
game.
2. Overall sombre was chosen for the
medieval fantasy game helping me know
what tone to use. The data tells me that
sombre has the highest and bright is the
lowest, telling me bright should not be used
for a medieval fantasy game.
3. it shows that dark was the second most
chosen tone, telling me that either sombre
or dark would be a good tone for my
medieval game. This would result in a game
which was gritty, focusing on a lot of dark
analogous colures to set the tone of the
game as opposed to lighter, and therefore
more upbeat and cheery colours and tones.

good for a medieval fantasy game ?

tells me that a wizard is chosen the least and that an
archer has the most.
3. As a result of this it shows that an archer is most
chosen showing that an archer can be used to for a
medieval fantasy game. This would result in a game
which is features a traditional, archetypical, medieva
character type which I could graphically base on an
English Log bowman perhaps.

associate with a medieval fantasy
game? 1. The reason why I have chosen
this question is because I wanted
to know what item do my target
audience mostly like.

most like in this, suggesting that
majority of my target audience
would most prefer an axe than
the rest. The data tells me that a
treasure box is least like telling
me that it should not be chosen
as it wont suit my target
audience.
3. As a result a mace is most like
too as its in second most liked
showing that it can be good for a
medieval fantasy game

appropriate for medieval fantasy
game?

chosen, however a village
can be chosen to as it’s the
second one most chosen

we should see?

character would most suit my
character for my medieval
game.
2. A young Clarick was most
chosen for this, this shows
that I should create a young
Clarick If I was to a supporting
character. The data tells me
that a young wizard is less
chosen.

the highest and page is the
second highest, suggesting
that a page can be used a
supporting character.

character wears ?
1. I asked this question because
I wanted to know what

robe is the best and that I can
use a plate too as its second
most chosen.

chosen for my medieval game?
