There is a wonderful song I recently heard But written by Nina Simone. It’s wonderful song called feeling good. And honestly, the song just makes one feel good proclaiming that there is a new day a new dawn and a new life for me. That awareness makes us feel good. It is a promise of hope; it is a promise of a future; it is a promise of good things not for tomorrow but for today.
According to John 20 and the conversation recorded there between Jesus and Mary Magdalene we can begin to get an idea of what the new dawn, day and life.
“17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” - What do this mean? Don’t hold onto me?Whenever we limit Jesus and the possibilities He can create we hold onto the human Jesus and do not allow Him to ascend to the place of God and King in our lives. Matthew 17:20 - Jesus said if we would allow Him to ascend even a little bit in our lives, as much as is in a little mustard seed, we would see mountains move. When this shift happens in persons lives there is a new dawn, a new day and a new life. A new life guided by one primary desire. To Go and Tell!
I get excited about technology. I love to tell people about things that I believe will help there lives. Mark Schloneger and my ipohne.
All the time and all the time god is good And god loves you to And if you will open up your heart to know god and you will fill stronger and you will have hope too We all know life is hard, and I know there are hard things in your life, but god is not going to let those things destroy you. And yes, god does allow those things into your life. Sometimes they are a result of other persons sin. And sometimes they are a result of your sin. But god does not allow them into your life to destroy you but to motivate you to depend on him.
1. All is well. It is. It truly is. 2. God hears your cries and he will respond. 3. The stone that the builders rejected, which is all of these positive statements about who god is, was embodied in one man his life and his death and his resurrection. That life and person, which was the embodiment of all of these truths, was and is Jesus Christ.
