that some said that it has existed for over 40 thousand
years. It is a practice that wherein every continent in the
world have these. It is actually known as the oldest healing
tradition in the world. It could be that every one of our
ancestors has practiced the shamanism. Shamanism is
not considered as a religion but a spiritual practice and
that there is no leader and there are no rules whereas with
religion has rules and a leader. The Shaman acts the
medium between the physical and spiritual world through
many forms of rituals. Nowadays, it is actually a way to
observe their roots through natural surroundings.

depending on one where resides, they might use a rattle, a
drum or other percussion instrument and in some culture
they use herb like ayahuasca and peyote for them to go into
an altered state of consciousness. The drum can carry
Shamans to non-ordinary reality, the sound of the drum
actually changes the brain waves into a state where they
become more receptive in what they call the spirits and
more connected with the creator and the invisible worlds
with their imagination.
