29. Mastičkář v jelením příkopu
Za dob vlády Rudolfa II. se ve Lvím dvoře chovali lvi, ti
potravou strádali, jelikož maso pro ně určené nepoctivý

císařův oblíbený lev umře v den císařovy smrti, což se také
stalo. Mastičkář se poblíž lvího dvora objevil vyčerpán po
dlouhé cestě a tady také skonal. Nepoctivého ošetřovatele
nenapadlo nic jiného, než jeho tělo hodit lvům a jelikož
nebyl pohřben po křesťansku, dodnes se tady zjevuje v
hodině krmení dravé zvěře.
