3. ~THE HISTORY~
Ever since 1990 Rogers State University was known as a high
quality institution of higher learning. It wasn’t always called
Rogers State University it was once called Eastern University
Preparatory School. This school was established for Native
Americans and ranchers to receive a college education. Two
years after the school was reconstructed the Oklahoma Military
Academy was founded. In the years of 1971-1982 the
population grew from 477 students to more than 3,000 students.

4. ~TUITION AND FEES~
 The tuition and required fees for Rogers in the state is
$5,047 and out of the state is $11,572. This does not count for
books and supplies. Books and supplies for Rogers State is
$11,572. The amount total usually adds up to $26,422.

6. ~MAJOR PROGRAM ~
 I would love to study medicine ,earn a bachelors degree and earn
many advanced degrees with that . I am thinking about being an
oncologist, and Rogers State University will help me achieve that goal.
It is known for oncologist to have coursework in biology, chemistry,
physics, math, english, the humanities and social science.

prog ram~
 The minimum number of semester hours require for a degree is
120.
 45 hours of extra-institutional and advanced standing credit can be
applied toward a bachelor degree.
 Students must hold a gpa of 2.0 in all courses. Students may earn
no lower than a C on any major or minor grades.

It is known for its high-quality
academic program.

9. ~Why?~
 There are many reasons I would love to attend Rogers State
University. One reason is because my moms family is lives up
there. We spend our summer up there and really enjoy it.. My
cousins kristin recently finished medical school, so she can
give me hands on hours and things like that. It is also known
that RSU has a high-quality academic program.
