Let’s Wiki! www.nppsmadison.pbworks.com Please log in using the username and password on the white paper strip.
Voki Time Create a page using your name. Click on insert, more plugins, interactive media, then Voki speaking avatar. Click on visit Voki.com. Click on “Create your own Voki” then customize your character.
Voki Time Type what you want your character to say.. (Two truths and a lie.)  If you want to , change the background. Click “Done”, then click “Publish.
Voki Time Click save, then “no thanks”  Close the window and copy the code for most sites. Go back to your wiki page and paste the code inside the box.  Click “insert plug in” and then save.
Review of 7 Strategies Get into Groups Discuss: What is it?   How can you use it to help your students’ thinking? Using a technology tool of your choice (Word Doc, PowerPoint, Voki, Movie Maker, etc.) prepare a product to share with the whole group.
Exit Card What thinking strategy are you interested in exploring further? What is the most persistent instructional question you have at this time?  On a scale from 1 to 10, rate how beneficial this PD session was for you.  What could we do differently to score higher?
