This document shares life lessons learned from passages in the Bible. It discusses lessons about love, finding happiness from small things rather than money, helping others with a listening ear and understanding heart, learning from older and wiser people, choosing to improve the future rather than dwell on the past, showing love for God, others, family and fellow man, praying for those who can't be helped financially or otherwise, growing from others' good examples, being kind over being right, and finding true happiness and beauty by putting God first in life.

1. I've learned.... No one in the world is perfect until you fall in love with them. Song Of Solomon 4:1-5, 7

2. I've learned.... That it's the small things that happen everyday that make life so spectacular. Acts 20:35

3. I've learned.... That money doesn't buy you class, happiness, or respect. 1 Timothy 6:9, 10

4. I've learned.... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold, an ear to listen, and a heart that understands. Luke 22:32

5. I've learned.... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an older person Leviticus 19:32

6. I've learned.... That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world. Psalms 127:3

7. I've learned ... Advice should be given in only two circumstances; When it is requested; and When you’ve taken your own advice. 1 Thessalonians 4:11

8. I've learned.... That life is tough, but I'm tougher, because I draw my strength from GOD. Philippians 4:12, 13

9. I've learned.... That opportunities are never lost; Someone more needed than you will take the ones you miss. Leviticus 19:9, 10

10. I've learned.... That when you plan revenge against someone, you’re letting that person hurt you all over again…”vengeance is mine, I will repay says the Lord”…. HE doesn’t need my help. Hebrew 10:30, 31

11. I've learned.... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs friends to act silly with. Romans 12:15, 16; Psalms 89:15

12. I've learned... That everyone deserves to be loved, respected, and appreciated. Ephesians 5:33

13. I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it…I can’t change my past, but I can improve my future. Matthew 6:34; John 17:3 I've learned....

14. I've learned.... That the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can? Genesis 2:1-3; Galatians 6:9

15. I've learned.... That when you're in love… with GOD, your mate, your children, or your fellow man, it shows. 1 Corinthians 13:1-8

16. I've learned.... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength or the monetary necessities to help them. 1 John 3:16-18; James 5:16

17. I've learned.... The easiest way for me to grow as a person is to learn by example. I spend time watching and listening to people older and wiser than I am. Titus 2:3-5

18. I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right. Micah 6:8

19. I've learned.... That just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" actually makes my day. Luke 6:38

20. I've learned.... That “Prejudice” is the child of Mr. and Mrs. Ignorant. To allow prejudice to enter your heart you have to push out the love of God…HE is not partial… Acts 10:34, 35; 1 John 3:15, 16; Genesis 3:20

21. I've learned.... That true beauty is not physical…the right person will be looking for the “quiet and mild spirit of the heart.” 1 Peter 3:3, 4; Proverbs 11:22

22. I've learned.... That if I want others to see and appreciate my beauty, I have to know and appreciate it in myself first… ”from the heart, the mouth speaks.” Luke 6: 45; Proverbs 21:2

23. I've learned.... That bad things can happen to good people; If GOD can loose a third of his children, I can endure the temporary pains of this world. Ecclesiastes 9:11, 12; Revelation 12:4; 21:3, 4

24. I've learned.... True happiness comes only when you put GOD first… then, “all other things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33
