2. Overview They go on two separate pages. You haven't got many words so you have to be very concise! About 150 words for each!!!
3. Conclusion Aim here is to sum your findings from your whole investigation. Best to do this in a table - it cuts down the amount of words you use! Key Question Summary of Findings Make sure that you write an introduction to your table first (and obviously give it a figure number!) The summary should be a few sentences that really ANALYSE your results and should involve some KEY VALUES - for example the environmental score - and EXPLAIN the reasons behind these results.
4. Put the title of your coursework as a sub-heading Carry out a short analysis of the actual question. An overview of the results. If you can - link this back to the theory you were talking about at the beginning in your purpose statement and the wider significance of your results. Bring your study out from your small area you have investigated and look at it in the context of theme overall. What can be done about it in the future? - develop your conclusion. Could you provide some recommendations? (can put this in a table) Have a really good concluding sentence that sums up what you have found and gives it a wider perspective! Conclusion
5. Evaluation Investigation completely finished now - do not discuss what was going on any more. You need to be evaluating how valid your conclusions are. Your conclusions are only as good as your results and these are only as good as your methods. Do not repeat your methods evaluation from earlier (you can refer back to this table). Create a pie graph for age and gender for your questionnaire and discuss whether the results came from a fair sample. Did they come from a heavy gender bias. Problems with your data/results Time is a problem for all - would have been nice to have a year round survey looked at in much greater detail. The time of year at present could affect your results greatly - weather, christmas etc. Final Paragraph - What would you could do to improve if you had more time? What would you do to get more conclusions/better conclusions?
6. Finally You need to print off a GB2 form from the shared area - needs to be signed with a word declaration and pinned to front of coursework before handing in. REMEMBER - All pages must be folded down to A4. 1.5 line spacing Times New Roman - Size 12 2,500 words (10% over or under is fine) Plastic wallets are NOT allowed unless you have fragile material Work to be presented in a A4 lightweight folder - I think we provide this!
