1. Market Manager-Scientific Staffing

Yoh Scientific, a leading provider of long and short-term scientific talent, has immediate full-
time opportunities for a LOB/Market Manager accountable for the overall effectiveness of
operations of an office and is responsible for selling and developing scientific staffing
opportunities in a territory within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Food and Medical Device
industries. Our Princeton, NJ office is looking for a Scientific LOB/Market Manager who
possesses the following:
Sales Experience
Staffing Experience in a Scientific Environment
Supervisory experience is preferred!!
Yoh’s LOB/Market Manager acts as a selling Branch Manager. In this role you be an individual
contributor, coach and mentor for the sales and recruiting staff. A typical split of focus/time for this
role will be approximately 70% for individual GM/client goals and 30% for team management.
Responsibilities Include:
-Leads business center team and optimizes team performance to attain business center
financial goals including gross margin. This role is critical to attaining the P&L objectives held
at the Area or Group level; however, this role does not hold P&L responsibilities.
-Performance manages staff to quality / quantity performance metrics. Attracts, hires, trains,
develops and motivates/retains staff.
-Assists in customer strategizing, planning and delivery for both account management and
recruiting functions, including territory management in assignment.
-Delivers personal gross margin/client management goals as assigned.
-Ensures quality of traffic, interviews and visits are in alignment with marketplace
segmentation/skill requirements.
-Reviews, qualify and modify job orders and contractor selection.
-Assists in negotiating assignments with clients/consultants to ensure optimum pricing.
-Ensures a seamless, superior overall customer service experience in the local market.
-Market share: assessment of client share and growth.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
-Expertise in staffing company recruiting or sales function. Proven ability to attain assigned
goals.
-Solid understanding of staffing industry practices, metrics and business analysis methods.
-Ability to lead a team to success through collaboration
-Exceptional teaming and interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education and Experience:
-Bachelors Degree or equivalent education/experience.
-Minimum five years successful sales and/or recruiting leadership, staffing industry
experience preferred.
