the farms to plant crops and sell them to
people. We raise animals such as cows
and pigs for meat and milk.

with computers. Now we can look up
things on the computer for homework.
We have come up with windmills to
conserve energy.
6. InAmerica we don’t have a king or a
queen because we feel we should have
freedom, but we do have a President.

the English language. We have 26 letters
in our alphabet. We basically got our
language from the Romans.
8. In America we are almost the same as the
Sumerians. We have the upper class, people
who are rich and have luxurious homes.
We have the middle class, people who are
not rich, but are not poor either.
Then we have the lower class, people who
are very poor. Some may be homeless or may
be in jeopardy of losing their home or their

Americans. The majority of Americans

Hinduism. We celebrate our religious

Music is very important to Americans. Music
entertains us.
Americans also love to go to the theatre. There
are theatres where people act out plays. There
are also theatres where people watch movies on
a big screen.
We also have very important monuments and
buildings, such as the White House or the
Washington Monument in Washington D.C.
