- The Work Queue displays all non-complete requests
- Each of the work queue statuses can be accessed via the Advanced Search request Screen When searching it may be helpful to set limits, for example Choose Your Library’s Role, or Select an option to Display Terminated requests or Display Not Supplied requests for example 3. If you choose the Display Not Supplied requests option this will display all of them in addition to active requests.
- Another useful search option is the Authorisation status, e.g. Authorisation Status Check Error will help you find problem requests, or 2. Authorisation Status Complete could be a likely choice, as it would return Completed requests only.
- You can retrieve requests in the same way as selecting the status from the Work Queue by using the Status option. You can search for multiple status by selecting Ctrl and left click of the mouse.
- Last Action may help you locate an individual request or a range of requests
- As will service type 1 which can be most helpful when searching for Copy non returnable requests.
- Analyse existing requests for information to format your search, whether it be by status, authorisation status or Last Action
- You can also review the Audit or History trail for information about formulating a search
